LONELY NIGHTS
He lies in his
tent and writes her a letter,
thinking a
lie to make her feel better.
Suddenly
the ground begins to shutter,
at first
no noise but men begin to mutter.
The tent
flap peels back,
he grabs
his ruc sac,
running
outside there's no turnning back.
The night
sky is filled with bursts,
and
flashes of lights,
is this
the end of his lonely nights?
He sees
his friends falling 2, 3, then 4,
and while
crying he screems no more! No more!

Then it
goes quiet, is the battle over?
The last
tear rolls down his cheek,
he was to
go home in just one week.
For him it
s over the war and the fights,
No more
fear or lonely nights.

THE
FIELD
Imagine
edging accross a field,
the person
in front signals to yeild.
Knowing
what is about to happen,
your will
and hope loudly crack.
You now
know there will be no comprimise,
the fear
and adrenaline begin to rise.
Then it
happens in the blink of an eye,
you now
see the most perfect sky.
At first
you're unsure,
but now
you're certain.
They ended
the show,
they
closed the curtain.

A POEM
FOR HER
You are
beatiful like sugar is sweet,
when I am
near you my heart doubles it's beat.
When I am
with you it's like I am lost in a trance,
Like
listening to an ancient tribal dance.

ANOTHER
ONE
There are
things more beatiful than winter skies,
things
like your beatiful big brown eyes.
Thing like
your beautiful crimson lips,
the ones
in which I long to kiss,
to place
me in a stae of eternal bliss.

WHAT DO
YA KNOW ANOTHER ONE
Sugar and spice
and everything nice,
thats what
most girls are made of.
I realize
now more than ever before,
you're
what my dreams are made of.
